How do I prepare for the session?
What should we wear?
Great question! Check out my style guide for advice! You should wear comfortable clothes, clean shoes and coordinate your tones to match the season.
Once you're booked, you'll receive my session prep guide, which is filled with tips for mom & dad and preparing the kids for a fun and quick session!
What happens in inclement weather?
Mini-session sets are only available on a specific date. We will work together to select another date/time if the entire mini session will need to be rescheduled.
What if someone is sick?
Mini-sessions are non-refundable, but are transferrable. I will coordinate with you to find an alternative date/time. If the specific mini-session requires rentals and props, that specific setup may no longer be available. A comparable substitute will be discussed and agreed upon by both photographer and client.
Do you offer raw or unedited images?
Yes! I have a set workflow of poses and games. We will move fast to keep the kids moving and engaged. You'll be pleasantly surprised what images we can capture!
Will 15 minutes enough time?
I do not. My photography represents my style and my brand. I am a true color photographer and the images on my website are a representation of my style.
Can i bring my pets?
It depends- reach out before your mini session. Most parks dogs are OK but we may need special permission on private property.

Melissa specializes in on-location portraits, lifestyle and portrait photographer.
Melissa also has a private studio in Noblesville, Indiana. The studio is best suited for Newborn, children's photography and headshots.
